The OUS technology goals are to teach all students basic computer and keyboarding skills.  In addition, collaboration between the computer class and all other academic classes will take place to reinforce what students are learning in areas such as language arts, math, science, and social studies.  Students will research and gather information on various topics throughout the year. The teacher will focus on creativity, critical thinking and problem solving.  It is our hope at OUS that all students become lifelong learners that can utilize technology as one way to gain access to knowledge.

Students in grades Junior Kindergarten and up will visit the computer lab weekly to learn basic technology skills and do projects related to the classroom curriculum. As part of our technology curriculum students will  be introduced to Smart Board technology.
