Associate Head of School Message

Welcome to OUS. Our school is an integrated learning environment combining core instruction with music, foreign language, sports, and technology.  Additionally, we incorporate the many cultural activities in our area as part of the learning experience.  Field trips are routine during each nine week quarter and our middle school grades will enjoy class trips to various historical parts of the country such as Boston, Philadelphia, Williamsburg, and St. Louis.

OUS has always been known for the academic achievements of its students and we pride ourselves in the outstanding faculty that strives so diligently to maintain the standard.  We begin and end with the premise that the best ingedients will produce the best results.  Providing the atmosphere most conducive to learning is also the mission of the OUS leadership that includes our Board of Directors.  They, along with each of us, want to see every child reach the full potential of his or her ability.

Again, welcome.  Come be a part of something special.

David D. Arrington
Associate Head of School
