Parent Support Group (PSG)
The Parent Support Group (PSG) promotes unity among parents, faculty and students concerning the school’s goals and achievements. All OUS families are members of the PSG, which supports the school through volunteer service and organizes and conducts fundraising events. Regular meetings are held. Each family is encouraged to be involved in the group’s sponsored activities.

Welcome to Oxford University School!!
We are so pleased to have you as a member of our family! It is our hope that your child will excel in academics while forming lifelong friendships in our thriving, nurturing environment.
At OUS, everything we do is for our children. Our administration, teachers and staff are invaluable to us as parents, for without their knowledge and skills, our children would not learn in the same capacity, and without their passion and understanding, our children would not be able to express themselves in such unimaginable ways.
Why are fundraising projects neccessary?
The PSG organizes fundraisers to provide needs for the school beyond the operating budget.
What are some examples of PSG projects?
Last year, the PSG raised enough money to purchase 15 computers and equipment for our computer lab. In addition, the PSG purchased new playground equipment. Each year, the PSG sponsors the All School Thanksgiving Feast, Field Day, and Teacher Appreciation Week, as well as provides $5,000 a year for teacher grants for classroom teaching enhancements. If funds are available, the PSG provides Christmas and year-end signing bonuses to our teachers.
What is your role in PSG?OUS is extremely grateful for the support of its parents. This support helps to guarantee the future for our children. To continue this tradition, it will require many parents working together for a common goal as we organize and carry out scheduled school events. All parents will have the opportunity to get as involoved as they desire by serving on committees and volunteering throughout the school year. Please know that we welcome any thoughts and ideas you may have with regard to the advancement and development of our program.
What is required of you?
As a parent, you are not required to serve on a committee. We do ask, however, that each parent serve a minimum of 30 hours in some capacity throughout the school year.
