Parents

We are so pleased to have you as a member of our family!  Each parent is a member of the PSG (Parent Support Group) at OUS.  It is our hope that your child will excel in academics while forming lifelong friendships in our thriving, nurturing environment.

At OUS, everything we do is for our children.  Our administration, teachers and staff are invaluable to us as parents, for without their knowledge and skills, our children would not learn in the same capacity, and without their passion and understanding, our children would not be able to express themselves in such unimaginable ways.

What are some examples of PSG projects?

Each year, the PSG sponsors the Fall Festival, Red Ribbon Week, Field Day, and Teacher Appreciation Week, Christmas bonuses and year-end signing bonuses to our returning teachers.  If funds are available, teacher grants are also awarded.

What is your role in PSG?

OUS is extremely grateful for the support of its parents.  This support helps to guarantee the future for our children.  To continue this tradition, it will require many parents working together for a common goal as we organize and carry out scheduled school events.  All parents will have the opportunity to get as involoved as they desire by serving on committees and volunteering throughout the school year.  Please know that we welcome any thoughts and ideas you may have with regard to the advancement and development of our program.
